A little background on Biggleswade:
Biggleswade is a market town on the River Ivel in Bedfordshire. Arrowheads found in the area dating back to 10,000 BC show the area to have been settled for a considerable period before the Romans arrived and built the White Way through the town. In the 1660's, Samuel Pepys stopped off in "Bigglesworth" as he called it, and mentioned it twice in his diaries.
